Things are further complicated when she crosses paths with a beautiful vampire who also desires Shane’s company and takes an extreme form of revenge when she doesn’t get it.

Racing to keep Shane from being killed or turned into a demon, Jo is forced to ask for help from the only one who can help. But he doesn’t want to help. She strikes an ungodly deal with him. Will they reach Shane in time? What is the price Jo vowed to pay for this man’s life? And to whom?
